I’m not sure I’d go THAT far, but running week after week, building on the previous “success”, is making this task easier. I can feel the progress when I go jog for an hour, and am not terribly tired at the end of the jog. It’s even better when the next morning I’m not sore, but Mike’s Mix may have a hand in that as well.
A few days ago, I ran with a friend, and didn’t even notice the miles go by. That it even became an enjoyable event, a momentous shift in thoughts, is cause for celebration. I think that is the challenge, the mental task of taking for me, a mundane chore, and finding joy in it.
