Thanks to a Mike’s Mix customer for coming up with this refreshing post-workout smoothie.

This thick and delicious smoothie is one of the best I have tasted! Using frozen strawberries with fresh kiwi combines for a sweet taste that goes perfectly with Mike’s Mix Original Recovery Drink.  This recovery smoothie has many benefits; kiwis are full of fiber, with 15% of your daily value from one kiwi. One of many health benefits of a high fiber diet is the protection against colon cancer and both kiwis and strawberries are an excellent source of Vitamin C & E. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that protects our body from free radicals, consumed regularly, fruits such as kiwi and strawberry can help protect our bodies from various ailments including cancer and obesity. So enjoy this delicious and healthy Mike’s Mix Recovery smoothie after your next workout.
