Strawberry Mike’s Mix Recovery Drink Smoothie.

I will quickly lose interest in a recipe, either for smoothies or a dinner entree, if the process is too complicated, time consuming or I find that I would have to make a special trip to the grocery store to get half the ingredients. As such, my favorite recipes are simple, inexpensive and quick. Many of my favorite Mike’s Mix smoothies take only a few minutes total preparation time. Such is the case with the strawberry smoothie. Strawberries are delicious, but their flavor is less intense than some of the other fruits used in smoothies. Therefore, you need to use more frozen strawberries compared to raspberry or pineapple to achieve full smoothie flavor. I sometimes include half a lime in the strawberry smoothie, which intensifies the flavor, but also changes it significantly. The additional lime adds a full serving of vitamin C.
